Hi, Iā€™m Jane Allimant.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who embraces a holistic and spiritual approach to help individuals regain emotional, physical, and spiritual health.

I speak fluently Portuguese, Spanish and English. I have extensive experience working with couples, adolescents, and adults treating issues such as anxiety and depression, relationship challenges, trauma, domestic violence, grief and loss.

I received my Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of Connecticut where I did research in the field of neuropsychology in the area of gender differences. I graduated there from the honors program track and I was the recipient of two honors in psychology for excellence.

I have research experience and am a co-author of three neuropsychology research studies. You can easily find these by research my name on Google.

After being offered a merit scholarship from Columbia University, I attended and graduated from the Columbia School of Social Work with a Master of Science. My focus was in the clinical social work field.

After graduating from Columbia University, I went to work in various mental health clinical settings such as NY Presbyterian Hospital in Westchester County, Silver Hill Hospital and White Plains Hospital. Over time, I found my passion was employing a holistic approach to helping others struggling with mental illness to heal.
